How much does it cost to come to ACUE?

No price change since 2004... and more discounts... for the weekend summer school

• ArchiCAD users Full Attendance Cost : £ 295 pounds GBP fully residential
    ....from Thursday afternoon to Saturday teatime. All you pay for between those times is your beer.
        Knock £ 20 off for each Discount module, to a maximum of £ 100.
• Special categories: £ 160 pounds GBP fully residential. (discount modules dont apply)
     Student /Retired /Univ or College teacher /Spouse / Distressed economies
• Late Booking: £ 30 surcharge for late bookings after 25th August.
  
• ArchiCAD users Local : £ 180 (Food, tuition content, but no bed accommodation)
• Students Local : £ 70 pounds GBP (Food, tuition content, but no bed)
• Arrive Early Weds night or Stayover Saturday night: £ 35 pounds GBP per night. Bed & breakfast.

Fractional Days:

• Thursday afternoon + evening attendance: £35 (starting 1630: Encounter, Dinner, Lectures)
• Thursday evening lecture: £15 (turn up at 8pm)
• Friday daytime attendance: £90 (Food included)
• Saturday daytime attendance: £60 (Food included)
• One 24-hour cycle's attendance: £150 (all Food and bed included)

One-day Training Schemes: 6-7 Sept 2005: (See One-day courses for details)

• Bed and Breakfast: £ 35 (per night B&B on Campus).
• One-Day course Tues or Wednesday: £ 145 (Special categories £ 95)
• 2 x One-day courses in sequence, Tues and Weds: £ 245 (Special categories £ 140)
• (Special categories, e.g. students/retired/teachers see below)

In addition to which, you get a £ 20 discount on the Summer School booking.
For those who wish to take any of the One-day Training courses and NOT book the Summer School, add £ 50,
i.e. £ 195 and £ 295 respectively.

You are advised to come up on Tuesday evening if you are doing a Wednesday course unless you live less than 2-3 hours drive away.... Please advise organiser if you need this.

Notes:

• "Early Bird" booking date : Prior to 25th July
  
• "Missed the Worm!" date : after 30th August
  
• Payments should be made in full by 25th August, unless you supply an institutional order form (eg College, Local Authority).
  
• Discounts: See nearby info box. No discounts apply for bookings after the "missed the worm!" date. Discounts do not apply to the Special price.
  
• Booking After 30th August: We need to get complete room lists to the University, so PLEASE let us have your reservation before this date. Late applications are still worth asking for and will not be refused - its just more admin to deal with. We reserve the right to charge a £30 surcharge for late bookings. But you can feel good! - your surcharge and discount will be used as a bursary for delegates from distressed economies, not retained by ACUE.
  
• Cancellations after 25th August: We are not obliged to make any refund for late cancellation after this date unless, in our considered judgement, circumstances justify a refund.
  
• Insurance : You must have your own travel insurance to cover for matters beyond your or our control, and for your own property, travel risks, laptops, dongles etc.
• All rooms have washbasins. Couples can have paired single rooms. University halls tend not to have ensuites, but they are cheaper than a hotel.
• EMail: All booking management is done by email. Please make sure we have your email address. Also, please send (by email) a short 5-8 line resumé, and a list of the 8 most interesting (to you!) workshops, indicating to us which ones we should allocate more space and chairs to. Indicate if you are interested in Training Day workshops.
• Please do not phone if it's possible to get your question answered by Email or off this website. (Booking organiser has day job at Nottingham university and not always able to answer phone.)
  

Special price category: Student /Retired /Univ or College teacher /Spouse / Distressed economies

• Spouse/Partner may come for the cost of a 'student' if they are not taking part in workshops/ plenaries, but want food etc. If S/P are ArchiCAD users, please pay regular price.
• Distressed economies: Delegates from Africa/South America or countries with weak currencies relative to GB pound) are welcome to ask to come at Student/Teacher rate. We want you to be with us for this occasion!
• Students attending will be eligible for a free ArchiCAD 9.0 Edu normally worth £ 111.

Your maths will be corrected if you dont get the discounts right, dont worry it its complicated.
